Welcome to Samira’s Serenity! This waterfront cottage is located only 1.5 hours away from Toronto and is a quiet and relaxing place to enjoy your getaway from the city! It has beautiful western views of Georgian Bay so you can watch the sunsets over the lake. At Samira’s Serenity you’ll find an outdoor deck where you’ll be able to enjoy the views over the water! There is a BBQ on the upper deck to cook for your family and friends. There is also an additional sitting area below the deck to entertain your group. There is a firepit by the water where you and your group can roast some marshmallows and share some stories. The best view of all comes from the rooftop boathouse sitting area. This boathouse sitting area is right on the water and allows you to have beautiful views over the water! Inside Samira’s Serenity you’ll find an updated and modern cottage that will make you feel right at home. It has a large kitchen with granite counter tops stocked with all your basic cookingware that is required to prepare a home cooked meal. There is a fireplace in the living room and a 48 inch TV for entertainment. There are 6 spacious bedrooms that will be perfect for the family; two of these bedrooms also have walk-outs to the deck! This cottage is located 10 minutes away from Midland that has several restaurants and grocery stores such as Kelseys, LCBO, Boston Pizza, Walmart and more! It is a 2 minute walk from the famous 17km Tay Shore Trail where you can walk by the water and enjoy the scenery. Don’t wait to book- your cottage destination is awaiting!

Came here with the family for the holidays – spent NYE here. Had a blast. beautiful scenery in the winter and lots to do nearby (restaurants, ski hills, snowmobiliing, wineries). Highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of renting this lovely cottage for 2-weeks in September. The cottage was very clean, well equipped and very private. THe hosts were amazing from the time of booking right through to the end of our stay. Always quick to reply and provided a wealth of knowledge on the surrounding area with things to do, etc. We brought our 19 foot boot and enjoyed fishing on the lake. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a little paradise in the north. You won’t be disappointed.

Wow what a gem this cottage is!! A perfect combination of elegance, beauty and total relaxation. I was there with my family for thanksgiving and we had such a wonderful time. Most comfortable beds, amazing soft sheets, perfectly set up kitchen…everything was so high end. Updated cottage and lots of room for us inside and out! The view was so lovely and put us all in happy mode. Palatium were s a joy to work with and everything was so easy and smooth. Thanks so much we will definitely be back!

We were a group of 10 women who were celebrating 30 years of annual girls weekends. We also stay at a new place each year. All 10 of us said we would stay here again! Beautiful large homey cottage (house), spacious grounds…and amazing views of the water. Clean and comfy beds, updated cottage. It was peaceful, quiet and serene. Saw beavers in the water, a fox and a deer on our walks. Thanks again to our hosts for a fantastic stay.

From the moment we contacted Palatium to inquire about renting, to the day we left, their communication and support was outstanding. We felt so welcomed in this absolutely stunning property that lacks for nothing! Beds are supremely comfortable, linens are plenty, it is spacious and the view is stunning. My kids loved using the kayaks, and paddle boats regularly. The place was so clean and large for our group. The welcome book has all info you could need and the kitchen is set up nicely to include everything you need for all meal prep. It was a perfect week for our family group of 12 (3 families, 6 kids total) and we can’t wait to return.

Samira’s Serenity was a truly amazing experience. It was such a peaceful getaway for my wife, children and grandchildren. The lake is a beautiful lake for any water activity. We spent our days on the boat tubing and water skiing. They went swimming from the dock and the property had a gradual sandy descent into the water great for the little ones. You have all the comforts of home and more. Rachelle was great to work with and is very accommodating. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

Samiras was an absolute delight. Our family stayed for two weeks and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The cottage itself is beautiful, spacious, and very clean. We rent 1-2 different cottages every year and this one was by far the best equipped. It had everything we needed to have a relaxing cottage vacation. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) to prepare meals and we loved using the kayak, and paddle boat. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds! I was expecting the usual cottage hand-me-down beds but the beds at Samiras were thick, comfortable and very clean. Great views of the lake, swimming from the dock and sunsets!! The team was very friendly, responsive and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We would definitely go back!

My husband and I rented this cottage with my grandparents and our cousins and absolutely loved this cottage. The interior is clean, updated and there is more than enough space with great views of the lake. We have been looking for a cottage that meets all of our needs and have finally found it. This was my family’s first stay at the cottage, and I must say, it surpassed my expectations! It’s obvious that the owners take great pride in this home away from home. It was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking, fun activities, and a relaxing vacation. The cottage was very clean and had plenty of room for everyone! The booking process was so easy and the owners were very helpful, and answered any questions I had in a timely manner. This place had all the fixings to create a fun and memorable vacation, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future (probably in the Fall or Winter. The views would be gorgeous!). First time staying and already re-booked for next summer. Owners obviously take great pride in making the stay as enjoyable as possible. Really appreciated the Owners providing very detailed and informative package of information about the cottage and surrounding area prior to our arrival. Excellent cottage for young kids with large grassy area leading down to sandy beach with shallow area in a quiet bay off the main part of Georgian bay. Cottage was extremely clean with recent upgrades. We have historically rented cottages up past Parry Sound so have been used to making 3+hour drive to get to desalination. This was so nice as we could get from Mississauga to the cottage in about an hour and a half. Glad we heard about this cottage and looking forward to going back.

We had a fantastic week at this lovely cottage in June. The setting is stunning with beautiful views out across the lake and gorgeous sunsets. There are 4 great deck areas including a floating dock, a boathouse sitting area, a beautiful deck with a dining table for meals, and seating area with couches and barbecue. The cottage was clean and extremely well stocked with everything we could need for our stay. We really enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the fire pit, jumping off the dock for a swim, and going kayaking around the lake. Midland is very close by and it has grocery stores and restaurants. Our hosts were great, very helpful and quick to respond while planning our trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 4] nights in Sept. Everything you could ask for in a cottage! Very well stocked with everything you would need. Communication with Rachelle was excellent before, during and post stay. We managed a few kayak trips around the lake and discovered so many beautiful islands. Of course these days cleanliness is so important and my wife and I were pleased upon arrival to see a spotless, comfortable, well maintained cottage. As perfect as the weather was in Sept, we booked a warmer week next summer and absolutely looking forward to it.

We wanted to start a family tradition of yearly cottage trips with our daughter and this was the perfect place to start. The waterfront was great for the kids, they were able to have a gradual descent into the water and even jump into the deep end from the end of the dock. My friends and I had a wonderful time at this cottage! It was amazing, one of the best rentals we have had. The cottage is right on the lake and the view is amazing. The cottage itself was awesome, the rooms were nice and there was a lot of space to enjoy!The property was also great, very private and a lot of outdoor space with a great fire pit and dock. Rachelle was great to rent from. She was very fast to communicate and everything was very smooth. She was also very kind and friendly. Thank you for sharing this space with us! Our 3-generations family had a great time. The cottage was spacious and all amenities were functional. We enjoyed both outside and inside the cottage. We had 3 young kids and bugs were our primary pre-trip concern. However, the cottage was in perfect position to receive the breeze from the lake that made our time hanging out on the dock and fire pit very enjoyable. The lake had a shallow entry for the kids and it was a great spot to swim from the dock!

Started cottaging this year and chose samiras cottage as our first trip. This is definitely a home away from home! 🙂 Already booked it again for next year!
